The 14" Meade ARC (today the models are called ACF) is a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with a drastically reduced coma error, very similar to the Ritchy-Chrétien systems. The primary mirror can be locked with a rotary knob, which is the mirror shift prevented with longer exposure times.
In addition to the existing focusing wheel, a 2" Baader Steeltrack focuser is part of the accessories.
The telescope is mounted on a 3" dovetail rail.
